D. Leslie is the CEO of her own small business Creative Sense which she officially founded in 2007 in Goldsboro, NC. Where she has assisted clients with services such as personal consulting, business structuring, interior decorating/design, property allocation and party planning. She has aided a small business owner to grow his companies profit substantially in two short years. D. has been an entrepreneur since 2001 where she started Personal Assisting for a local producer in the New York City area. D. always knew that managing her own business and career path would be essential in her leading a fulfilling life overall. After all she was the product of two entrepreneurs. Her father was a successful business man in the south; he owned his own big rig, a convenience store/gas station as well as real estate. Her mother also showed an entrepreneurial spirit, for she owned her own well known grocery store in Queens, NY during the early 70s to the late 80s before she became ill. D's parents were deed holders and business owners at a time when many people of color were struggling financially. Knowing that she had this spirit inside of her D realized she must continue the tradition of entrepreneurship. Although this path can be quiet trying D continues on using her creativity to produce financially. This has brought her down various paths, sparking journeys she never imagined she would partake in. From personal assisting to erotic modeling this woman has found a way to persevere through many hardships in her life. There is an ever burning fire inside her that fuels her to withstand trials and find solutions to problems when others tend to give up. This is not merely from thirst for success; for her destiny is much greater. D's goal is to be the beacon of light in the darkness for those who find themselves confused, abused, lost, and afraid or simply in search of motivation needed to succeed not only in their career but in the life. Realizing that she can not change the world D's goal is simple to ignite the fire in her client or audience that will help them lead more fulfilling lives.
